13-Year-Old Paralympic Swimmer Wins Silver Medal at 2019 European Youth Games 7/4/2019
13-year-old paralympic swimmer Koral Berkin Kutlu of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club won the silver medal at the 2019 European Youth Games. The youngest athlete competing in the European Championship, Kutlu's new goal is to participate in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Club (IBBSK) paralympic swimmer Koral Berkin Kutlu, 13, who participated in the 2019 European Para Youth Games held in Pajulahti, Finland, has put the silver medal around his neck in the 50-meter butterfly stroke with a degree of 48.08.

Kutlu has qualified to participate in 2019 World Para Swimming Championships that will take place in London, Great Britain, from 9 to 15 September. The games in London will also be a key qualifier for the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games which is Kutlu's main goal.

Koral Berkin Kutlu, who started swimming at the age of 9, won many medals in the international arena despite his young age. At the Belarusian Open Paralympic Championships, the youngest star of IBBSK was the third in 50m butterfly, second in 50m freestyle and third in 100m freestyle, and second in 50m butterfly in Paralympic World Series 6 Foot Races.
